→ the hangi is important because the hangi is the traditional hangi that maori people use


7. In your own words explain how to build a hangi.

How to build a hangi your first gonna build a 46 or 60 cm deep hole after that your gonna place the large steamed stones and then your gonna place the small steamed stones on top your gonna have to get hot steam when that's done your next gonna put branches on top of the hot steam when that's there your next gonna place the meat in the middle and put the vegetables besides the meat next you're gonna place leaves on top of the meat and vegetables so that it can have a right temperature of steam.
