Creating a Comic Book
Comic Books have provided us with some of the best (and worst) movies in recent memory. Some of you may have not even known that your favourite characters, like Iron Man or Wonder Woman were originally comic book characters.
Comics are amazing because they cross over between reading (written language) and movies (visual language), because with each scene that is happening we get words, and pictures to help us understand what is going on!
Your task today is to write a short NARRATIVE based on the cover of a famous comic book.
That means a story!
Look at the images below very carefully. Pay attention to the characters, the setting, and look for small details that can help you plan what you are going to write.

Begin your writing here: Superman and Batman was going outside for fresh air until there was this big giant ship that was destroying buildings and then Spider man / peter parker saw it peter parker was going to school in bus until he leaves the bus to save the city he said to his friend to distract the other people in the bus so he can transform into spider man peter parker went to iron man on the ship iron man told spider man “ Hey kid what are you doing here” Then spider man said “ I’m here to save the world” Then iron man told him to leave before he gets burnt he fall off but then spider man used his webs to get back on then iron man got in he saw the villain and then he said “ Let go of my friend” Then the villain said “ Haha No” Then hulk came on the ship to fight the villain.So then the villain said “ Fine I’ll Let him go but I’ll get you back you’ll just wait you’ll see” Then spider-man asked the villain a question spiderman asked “ Hey villain what is your name” Then the villain said “my name Haha My name is the destroyable beast” Then spider-man and iron mean left they worked together to save the city then they went back home.And they celebrated that they saved a city! |
